HSBC Rugby Sevens was a client that I was fortunate enough to work with whilst working at KingSt. We had the task to do the creative campaign design for the Rugby World Cup Sevens Tournament in Hamilton in January 2023, the first time the tournament has been back since the pandemic. They wanted something exciting, fast-paced and fun. We really wanted to focus on the movement of the players, so I created a custom handwritten font, and also a toolkit called the 'Marks of movement' which is used across all the creative in the campaign. The campaign was based around 'Ready, Set, Sevens'. Which gave us three phases.
