Volunteering Waikato wanted a brand refresh to its existing logo and a brand guideline to make its brand more consistent. Because it is a not-for-profit organisation, different people work on the brand which causes inconsistencies to arise, making the organisation a bit messy and unapproachable.
We sent out a pitch with three varying designs ranging from a refresh to a rebrand as a whole. They decided to just stick with the slight refresh, as the brand itself is already recognisable and because of budget.
